Netflix has revealed the release date of Ultraman: Rising, an animated flick inspired by Tsuburaya Productions’ sci-fi media franchise of the same name. The upcoming animated project will be the 44th entry in the prominent franchise.
Ultraman: Rising follows Ken Sato (voiced by Christopher Sean), a popular but egoistic baseball player who lives a secret life as the giant titular superhero. After defeating a dangerous kaiju, Ultraman is left with no other alternative except to adopt the kaiju’s baby. This scenario makes it hard for the protagonist to find a balance between his hero duties and career.
As per Netflix’s tweet, the upcoming Ultraman animated film will arrive on the streaming service on June 14. The platform has also released the movie’s new poster. Check out below!
