Netflix Woos Audience With Free Starter The Hotstar Way! Know How

Netflix is having a tough time right now. They lost 200K subscribers and their stock prices fell drastically. Amidst all the mess, they cancelled many shows and fired 100s of employees. But they are also coming up with the third season of Love Death+Robots.

For the unversed, this is a highly creative series where you get animated as well as real footage and they are extremely innovative. Some of the best people from the animation industry come up with short stories which covers a wide variety of genres.

Since its inception in 2019, Love Death+Robots has won 11 Primetime Emmy Awards, four Annie Awards, one Golden Reel Award, one British Academy Scotland Award and many more.

So if you remember the vintage Hotstar (2019-20) then they had a habit of free starters. Those who don’t have any subscription or even without logging-in could enjoy the first episode of a series for free. If they liked the episode then they might wanna consider buying a subscription.

Now, Netflix is doing exactly that with Love Death+Robots. Even in Money Heist Season 5 Volume 1, they released the first 15 minute footage of the first episode but this time they have released the entire episode.

The third season of Love Death+Robots will have 9 episodes and the first one is available on the YouTube channel of Netflix.

It is good that Netflix is learning from Hotstar because hardly any OTT platform enjoys monopoly/dominance like they do.
