Netflix has renewed Jordanian miniseries ‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ for a second season. Created by Tima Shonali, ‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ is the second Jordanian Netflix original series after ‘Jinn’.
The announcement for season two was made with a short clip that featured a school bus and then the gate of AlRawabi School for Girls where students are seen entering the school. Season two of Netflix’s ‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ is officially in production.
The second season is created and directed by Tima Shonali who has co-written the series with Shirin Kamal and Islam Alshomali. ‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ stars Andria Tayeh, Rakeen Sa’ad, Noor Taher, Yara Mustafa, Joanna Arida, Salsabiela, Nadera Emran and Reem Sadeh among others.
‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ is a miniseries that followed the bullied outcasts at the prestigious Al Rawabi School for Girls who plot a series of risky takedowns to get back at their tormentors in the first season that premiered on Netflix in 2021 in 32 languages.
Filmizion Productions produces ‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ on behalf of Netflix. Nadine Toukan is the producer for the series.
