Fans of The Office (aren’t we all!!!) can bask in the glow of happiness at the piece of news Netflix dropped last evening. Space Force, the series that’ll bring back The Office creator Greg Daniels and lead actor Steve Carell, has finally got a release date. Netflix announced the release date on social media last evening. Space Force will arrive on Netflix on 29th May!
Steve Carell plays four-star general Mark R. Naird, who’s chosen to head Space Force, the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces. Mark moves with his family to a remote space base in Colorado where he leads a a colorful team of scientists with the sole aim of putting a man (American, of course) on the moon again and ensuring that America dominates space as well.
Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe, in Friends) plays his wife, Maggie Naird. John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow and Don Lake make up the rest of the cast.
Space Force premieres on Netflix on 29th April.
