Although not every time Netflix does know how to create buzz around big films. They do it more often with tentpole titles and it makes all the sense in the world to do so. So what is the next big release at Netflix?
Obviously, it is The Killer. In case you happen to have a Netflix account and you are not living under the rock then you must be aware of it. This David Fincher film is arriving on the 10th of November. Following the usual pattern, it is going through limited theatrical release and the response is definitely worth noting. The reviews have come out to be extraordinary and there is a very positive response pouring in. So just yesterday, even without any official trailer whatsoever, Netflix released the film in limited theaters.
So right at the moment when the world was getting wooed by the movie, Netflix dropped the bomb. And what is the bomb?

Yes, yesterday late night Netflix dropped the trailer. If we follow the American time then Netflix dropped the trailer a day after the theatrical release. And what a trailer it is.
It is horrifying, disturbing and spectacular out of so many other great things. It looks fantastic and perfectly manages to create a very excitement around the movie. Let’s hope the film actually justifies the hype it is carrying around itself.
