Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives First Reactions Are Out!

Dead Boy Detectives has arrived on Netflix. And as expected, critics and media publications across the globe have started pouring in their reviews about the latest Steve Yockey’s creation.

The series revolves around the duo of Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine, popular DC characters created by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner. Both young gentlemen decide to keep a safe distance from the afterlife and stay on Earth to investigate chilling and intriguing crimes linked to something supernatural. George Rexstrew plays Edwin and Jayden Revri portrays Charles in the show.

Early critical reactions towards Dead Boy Detectives have been largely positive. Critics have praised the show’s tone, visuals, cinematography, plots, and performances.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the series stands with a ‘fresh’ score of 90% based on 29 reviews. It has received an even better score from the audience, 93% based on 50 reviews. It is a total of eight episodes.

In addition, Rexstrew and Revri, Dead Boy Detectives stars Kassius Nelson, Briana Cuoco, Ruth Connell, Jenn Lyon, Michael Beach, Max Jenkins, Lindsey Gort, Lukas Gage, and more. Neil Gaiman has co-executively produced the series along with Yockey, who also happens to be one of the showrunners. All episodes are now streaming on Netflix.
