Netflix has just dropped the release date of its most anticipated Hindi film of 2021, ‘Dhamaka‘. The thriller premieres on Netflix on November 19, 2021, just a few days shy of the birthday of its lead star, Kartik Aaryan, which happens to be 22nd November. Netflix plans to end 2021 on a high with the release of ‘Dhamaka’ in the fag end of the year.
‘Dhamaka’ follows the story of an ex-news anchor Arjun Pathak, played by Kartik Aaryan, who is given another chance to go live on prime-time television when a terrorist calls him with a bomb threat. Little does he know that this call will change his life and throw him into a fast-paced game of betrayal.
Dhamaka stars Kartik Aaryan in a never seen before avatar and boasts an incredible mix of talent, such as Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar and Vishwajeet Pradhan in pivotal roles, along with a special appearance by Mrunal Thakur. Dhamaka is directed by Neerja and Aarya fame director Ram Madhvani, and written by Puneet Sharma and Ram Madhvani. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, under his banner RSVP, along with Ram and Amita Madhvani under their production company, Ram Madhvani Films.
Kartik Aaryan’s Dhamaka is said to be the official Indian remake of the 2014 Korean thriller, The Terror Live. Will the Indian version create a ‘Dhamaka’? Well, we’ll know that on November 19!
