Netflix’s Documentary on the “Night Stalker” Is Another Addition to the Real-Life Murderer Genre

Netflix’s crime genre is growing by the minute if one asks about anything on which genre has the highest growth. Not only are the series increasing but the documentaries based on those are also on an all time high. The upcoming Netflix documentary is also based on another real life incident. A story that rocked Los Angeles and San Francisco in the 80s. Netflix‘s latest documentary “The Night Stalker” is based on the life and terrors created by Richard Ramirez.

The docuseries follows the path on how the murders by Richard Ramirez started out and follows the stories of the detectives that took on the case and investigated on it. The show also features the first hand experiences of the victims who were lucky enough to survive the nightmare. They put forward their accounts and it’s nothing less than story that is straight out of a horror novel. One thing that needs to be put forward is that the murderer uses the word, “Satan” a lot. Also people has claimed that he is nothing less than something made of pure evil.

His methodology of killing and capturing his victims seemed like it had no pattern in the beginning. The only link people could make was the fact that he stalked people at night and committed those murders at night. This, hence ended up giving him the name of “Night Stalker”. He was one of the most feared murderers that was out loose in California.

The story will also reveal how he was caught and what ended up happening to him. This one will either end up being stacked in Netflix’s library of crime documentaries or it will be big. Normally these documentaries makes it big in places that have suffered those instances or is a worldwide phenomenon. Therefore, it will be a test for Netflix too, as how much content will they provide with such documentaries.
