The 3rd season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive is here. A documentary series that is solely dedicated to show the behind the scenes of one of the most loved and followed international game of auto racing. The series has been up for 2 seasons already, first two that showcased the seasons of 2018 and 2019 respectively. This year, it is back again for the fans to witness what went on in one of the most historic years for the world.
The season is ready to drop on the 19th of March, 2021 and will definitely show the audience and also fans some of the most exciting and nerve wracking moments in this year’s championships. This year has been special in its own way and will always remember it. The most important thing for fans and also the stars of Formula 1 is most definitely the beginning of COVID-19 and trying to carry on with the game in the most tense situation, when the entire world was fighting with it.
This year’s season has also been remarkable as we got a winner that broke a record. Yes, we are talking about Lewis Hamilton and he breaking the legendary Michael Schumacher’s all time victory tally. Also, it has been one memorable year for Pierre Gasly, as he went forward with his victorious win.
Of course, it isn’t a race without some scratches here and there, and this season too fans witnessed one. No one likes to see these hardworking drivers get injured but one of the most horrific accidents and cases of burn took place this year as Romain Grosjean got involved and escaped the accident that took place. On the road to recovery now, it would be great to let the audience see that this isn’t just a game of cars and race, a lot more is at stake too.
Apart from this, there are definitely a lot more that happened and it would be exciting to see what changed this year for the Formula1 drivers and the teams behind them and what went down in the season in a year that was one of the horrific of them all.
