Ghost In The Shell is a ground-breaking cult animation series which has amassed a massive following over the years. It has been made into multiple series and movies. But, a last live-action film starring Scarlett Johansson destroyed all the reputation.
The Ghost In The Shell live action movie was a critical as well as commercial disaster despite having a fabulous buzz at the start. Post the debacle, the maker’s intention to make a series has been permanently put to rest and fans worried if they could ever get to watch their favourite series again.
The prayers of the fans were answered when Netflix picked up the anime and announced a new series, Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045. After a gap, Netflix has finally revealed the first image from the animation, and it has got all the fans worked up.
The animation of the first character cyborg Major Motoki Kusanagi has been unveiled by Netflix. Russian artist Ilya Kuvshinov has been roped in as designer for the series, and if we go with the response the first image has got, she surely seems to be living up to her reputation. Ultraman directors, Shinji Aramaki, and Kenji Kamiyama are handling Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045 which will debut online in 2020.
