Gunpowder Milkshake released its official trailer and the fans are loving this killer squad (both literally and figuratively). It showed a group of badass ladies who wreaked havoc as they banded together to take down a syndicate because that’s what heroes do or in this case assassins.
The story of Gunpowder Milkshake revolves around an elite assassin who reunites with her mother plus her associates to take care of an 8-year-old and take down a gruesome criminal syndicate and their henchmen. It highlights the life of three generations of assassins who are tired of all the violence, bloodshed and are trying to put an end to things.
Revenge may be a dish best served cold but these ladies sure know how to sizzle on screen with all bullets flying around as they take down the bad guys and even look cool as they do it. Lena Headey has impeccable expressions and was tailor-made for the role of the assassin who doesn’t give two hoots about what anyone else is thinking. What is even better about the story is to see how a group of cutthroat assassins who would kill for anything band together to protect a child which shows that they still have a guilty conscience.
Gunpowder Milkshake has a stellar cast of Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Angella Bassett, Michelle Yeoh, Carla Gugino, Chloe Coleman, and Paul Giamatti. It is directed by Navot Papushado. The screenplay is written by Ehud Lavski and Navot Papushado. It is being produced by ‘The Picture Company’.
Gunpowder Milkshake will stream on Netflix in the US on 14th July.
