Netflix has just released the first trailer for a new season of its well-received documentary series, ‘Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons‘. Season 7 of the series premieres on Netflix worldwide on 15th September, 2023.
Raphael Rowe returns as presenter for the new Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons Season 7. For those who don’t know, Raphael Rowe is a former inmate himself, and knows firsthand how life behind bars is. He visits some of the dingiest and toughest prisons in Finland, Czech Republic, Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. The trailer for the new season follows Raphael Rowe as he interacts with inmates in the prisons, including hardened criminals and remorseless murderers.
The trailer for ‘Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons Season 7’ shows how difficult life can be for inmates in such prisons, especially when money is short and resources are scarce in those prisons. The images are stark and bone-chilling, the one-on-one chats with inmates, eye-opening. The series also looks at the prison system from the perspective of the guards. It also shines a light on the living conditions of inmates.
Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons is produced by London-based Emporium Productions. The synopsis of the series reads, “Investigative journalists become voluntary inmates in the world’s most volatile prisons, where intimidation and brutality rule.”
