Netflix’s Malayalam Film “Love” Is About Marriage Dipped In Dark Humour!

The south Indian Film Industry is right creating cinematic wonders and we all can collectively agree on that. One of such wonders that released last year is the Malayalam dark comedy movie “Love”. The movie was originally released in the UAE on the 15th of October, 2020. The movie was released in India, this year on the 29th of January, 2021. Fans are super excited to see that “Love” coming to Netflix and with the hype that it created around its story, the ones that haven’t watched it are in for a treat.

The movie has garnered a lot of attention ever since its release and the decision of bringing the movie to stream by Netflix is another great way to show that the movie is appreciated. Love is a Malayalam lockdown project and going by the essence of how the movie is filmed, one can clearly understand that it has made the best use of the area that was provided to them.

Love is not a movie that will tell you about relationships, marriage and love with an essence of sweetness to it. Though the movie is focused and based on that topic, it will make you feel like it is taking a mystery thriller plot to it too. With men discussing topics that most think that aren’t discussed by them, it shows the audience the thought process of what men actually might think in certain drastic situations of their lives.

The movie is a careful blend of relationships, love, marriage and trust. The movie portrays the factor that love can at any given time turn to hate and it won’t take long. The only way to solve this is navigate through the issues that actually brought them to that position. Mixed with dark humour, the movie will make you think about whatever is happening around, at least once.

The movie stars Rajisha Vijayan and Shine Tom Chacko in the lead roles. The movie is written and directed by Khalid Rahman and produced by Ashiq Usman. The movie is the second lockdown project from the Malayalam Film Industry; the first project to release was CU Soon.
