Netflix has just dropped the trailer for its upcoming British series ‘Who Is Erin Carter?’. The limited series premieres on Netflix worldwide on 24th August, 2023. Interestingly, ‘Who Is Erin Carter?’ comes from Left Bank Pictures, the production company behind Netflix’s ‘The Crown’. It is written by Jack Lothian (Doc Martin, Skins, Shameless), who is also the showrunner for the series.
The action thriller series ‘Who Is Erin Carter?’ centres on a British woman, Erin Collantes, who is living the idyllic expat life in Spain. On the surface, she seems like an average wife, mother and school-teacher. But when she comes face to face with armed robbers in a supermarket, she becomes another person altogether – a fearless fighter, an expert hand-to-hand combatant, and a badass toughie.
It’s quite obvious from the trailer of ‘Who Is Erin Carter?’ that the lady in question is leading a dual life, one that her husband and kid have no knowledge of. When one of the robbers in the supermarket robbery claims to know her, her carefully constructed life begins to unravel. As she strives to keep her true identity at bay, she must leverage all her skills to clear her name and protect her family.
Swedish actress Evin Ahmad (Snabba Cash) plays the lead role of Erin Collantes in ‘Who Is Erin Carter?’. Sean Teale, Dennis Gough, Douglas Henshall, Susannah Fielding, Charlotte Vega, Indica Watson, Pep Ambros and Jake Fairbrother make up the rest of the cast.
