Season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece will be bigger than the first season, considering the latest additions to the upcoming season’s cast. The live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s iconic manga series has added Clive Russell, Brendan Murray, and Werner Coetser. The trio will appear as members of Straw Hat Pirates and Monkey D. Luffy’s allies in the sophomore season.
Russell (Game of Thrones) will play Crocus, a lighthouse keeper and wise doctor. On the other hand, we will see Murray and Coetser playing Brogy and Dorry (captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates), respectively, in the forthcoming season. Murray is best known for his work in Raised by Wolves.
The three sensational acting talents are among the new additions to Season 2’s cast, joining David Dastmalchian, Jazzara Jaslyn, Camrus Johnson, and Daniel Lasker. Series regulars Iñaki Godoy, Taz Skylar, Jacob Romero, Emily Rudd, and Mackenyu will also return.
Season 1 emerged as a record-breaking success for Netflix, amassing over 18.5 million views with more than 140 million hours of viewing in its first week of release.
Created by Steven Maeda and Matt Owens, One Piece Season 2 may be released in late 2025. Stay tuned for more updates. You can stream the first season on Netflix.
