Netflix has announced that filming for One Piece Season 2 has officially wrapped, and the series has now entered the editing stage.
The streamer confirmed the news by releasing a first-look image featuring the main cast members of Season 2: Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp.
Here’s how Netflix celebrated the completion of One Piece Season 2 filming!
Considering the current status of Season 2, we can expect it to premiere in late 2025. Netflix initially announced that new episodes would be released this year but later removed that information from their article.
In September 2024, Netflix revealed the first-look images of Drum Island and Chopper. Additionally, more than 20 new cast members have been confirmed for Season 2. This suggests that the upcoming season will be even grander and more exciting than the debut season.
Within just two weeks of its release, One Piece became Netflix’s top-ranked show worldwide, amassing over 37.8 million views. It broke into the Top 10 in 93 countries and claimed the No. 1 spot in 46 of them. With a 95% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes (based on over 10,000 ratings), it remains one of Netflix’s most popular shows ever. Stay tuned for more updates!
