Gear up as Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 2 of Ragnarok. Ragnarok is a Netflix original series that revolves around a small Norwegian town that is facing warm winters and violent downpours. It seems destined for Ragnarok unless someone can do something to prevent it.
According to Norse mythology ‘Ragnarok’ is the battle that is fought at the end of the world between the gods that are led by Odin and the monsters that are led by Loki.
The first season was released on 31 January 2020 and it went on to garner a lot of praise. Season 2 of Ragnarok has got Netflix subscribers all across the world excited. Magne is searching for allies and answers to stop all the chaos that is going around but will be able to do all of that in time.
Ragnarok 2 stars the likes of David Stakston, Jonas Strand Gravli, Herman Tommeraas, Theresa Frostad Eggesbo, Emma Bones, Henriette Steenstrup, and Synnove Macody in pivotal roles in the film. It is directed by Mogens Hagedorn and Mads Kamp Thulstrup.
Magne is just another 17-year-old high schooler who is trying to fit in and get the best out of his school life but things are not so easy for this teenager especially when you have learned that you are up against an extremely powerful force that is perhaps holding the entire town or even nation in its clutches.
Netflix has ramped up its originals recently and always seems to be taking those risks and coming out with fresher content for global audiences. Another tool that they have used so aptly is the sequels to their already existing shows which have been hyped up due to their niche following and creative storyline.
Ragnarok Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on 27th May.
