Netflix has dropped the teaser for its upcoming film ‘Society of the Snow’ coming from J. A. Bayona (‘The Impossible’, ‘The Orphanage’, ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’).
The teaser shows how despite not knowing what’s going to happen to them a group of people stranded in snow after a plane crash are keeping records through photographs. Maybe for the world to remember them or maybe for their loved ones. The whole teaser gives a chilling vibe and makes you root for their survival.
The official logline for ‘Society in the Snow’ reads, in 1972, the Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, chartered to fly a rugby team to Chile, catastrophically crashes on a glacier in the heart of the Andes.
