Netflix has just released the trailer of its buzzy title The Girl on the Train and Parineeti Chopra takes a really dark shade with her latest character.
Parineeti Chopra’s character, Mira Dev suffers from amnesia. Amnesia causes loss of facts, information, or memories. Humans are nothing without a lasting and fulfilling relationship and that at times leads to a feeling which we cannot put into words.
Netflix’s The Girl on The Train is a look at a woman who has lost everything and when she sees another woman through the window of her train, she feels a certain connection. She reminds her of her past and we do not know if that is a good or a bad thing.
Apart from Parineeti Chopra other stars like Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari can also be seen essaying pivotal roles in The Girl on the Train which is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
What promises to be a fascinating storyline is based on the life of a woman who is found murdered in the Greenwich forest. Different suspects are lined up and what may look like a simple case turns out to be a twisted affair.
Not everyone has a perfect life after all and we all have our secrets. Sometimes these very secrets come to haunt us in different ways.
The film is based on Paula Hawkins’s 2015 novel which goes by the same name. The film also stars Sammy Jonas Heaney.
Netflix’s The Girl on the Train will release on Netflix on 26th February.
