Based on a collection of comics and graphic novels created and written by Gerard Way, the lead singer of the rock band My Chemical Romance, Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’ was quick to top the streamer’s charts and even quicker in becoming a fan favorite.
Having originally released back in 2019, the fantasy superhero sci-fi has a fourth and final season upcoming soon. All of its six episodes will be streamed exclusively on the platform from August 8. While the news of the final season streaming soon disheartened numerous fans, their spirits were quickly rekindled with the jaw-dropping trailer launched recently.
Accompanying the background score that sets the pretense of impending doom and the end of the world, the teaser for the final season begins with a final warning. Aimed at uncovering the baloney lies that constitute the world as we know it today, the final season seems to be set amidst the chaos caused by varying timelines.
While the world ending may not seem like a big deal to the supernaturally gifted Hargreeves siblings, fans are sure to have mixed feelings about the show ending. The ensemble cast for this concluding season stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore.
