Netflix’s latest German thriller series ‘Dear Child’ premiered on the platform on 7th September, 2023. Within days, the show has hooked and captivated everyone with its dark drama and thrilling twists. ‘Dear Child’ is a limited series, inspired from a true story. The six-part German psychological thriller series is adapted from Romy Hausmann’s novel of the same name. The series centres on a kidnapped woman who manages to escape her captor’s clutches. But her emergence from captivity leads investigators to another unsolved disappearance from many years ago.
