Netizens React To ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ Release Delay To Eid 2024

The wait to see Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff together on the big screen gets longer as ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is now slated to release on Eid next year instead of the previously announced Christmas 2023.

The news came today with announcement of shoot completion and a few photos of Akshay and Tiger from the sets of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. The pictures all justify the action theme of the film as there are guns, bikes and fighter planes involved.

This reveal has led to obvious reactions from netizens many of whom believe and are curious that since the shooting is already over there was ample time to go ahead for the Christmas 2023 release. Then why such long delay?

And that led to the opinion that since Shah Rukh Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ is set for Christmas 2023 release this step has been taken to avoid the clash. While the postponement could be due to many other technical reasons, the clash thing seems most obvious in current scenario.

Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar (‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Tandav’, ‘Jogi’), ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is a big budget project packed with action, comedy and entertainment (and is not related in any aspect to David Dhawan’s 1998 film of the same name). In addition to Akshay and Tiger the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran in prominent roles.

Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment present ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ in association with AAZ Films. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ will release in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on Eid 2024.
