June Diane Raphael is the newest addition to New Line Cinema’s upcoming horror thriller, Weapons, which has Josh Brolin as the lead. Helmed by Zach Cregger, Weapons is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide in January 2026.
We don’t know which role Raphael will play in the film. The project’s plot details are currently under wraps. Apart from Raphael and Brolin, the movie has talents like Julia Garner, Benedict Wong, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Amy Madigan, and Cary Christopher.
June Diane Raphael is best known for her work in notable films like Ass Backwards (2013), The Disaster Artist (2017), Blockers (2018), Long Shot (2019), 8-bit Christmas (2021), Cheaper by the Dozen (2022), and Scrambled (2023).
Written and helmed by Zach Cregger, Weapons marks his next feature project after Barbarian (2022), the critically acclaimed horror flick which starred Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgard, and Justin Long. Barbarian ended its box office run with $45 million against its $4.5 million budget. It has a ‘fresh’ score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on over 200 certified critic reviews.
‘Weapons’ is being co-produced by New Line Cinema, Vertigo Entertainment, and BoulderLight Pictures. It will arrive in theatres globally on January 16, 2026. Stay tuned for more updates.
