With just 10 days to go for its worldwide premiere on Disney+, Marvel just teased fans with another kick-ass trailer glimpse to Oscar Isaac’s “Moon Knight“.
In something that looks like an ad-spot titled ‘Choice’, Oscar Isaac is shown fighting a mysterious creature that looks more like the deviants we’ve seen in Marvel’s “Eternals’ that came out last year.
Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as the titular hero, one of the multiple identities of British shop worker Steven Grant. Grant’s life turns topsy turvy when he learns about the existence of his alter-ego, Marc Spector, and channels the Egyptian god Khonshu’s powers.
Isaac is joined by other popular names like Lucy Thackeray, who stars as Steven’s colleague Donna, May Calamawy as former Spector associate Layla El-Faouly, F. Murray Abraham: the voice of Khonshu, Ethan Hawke as cult leader Arthur Harrow, and the late Gaspard Ulliel who plays Midnight Man.
Created by Jeremy Slater, four episodes are directed by Mohamed Diab, two by director duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who were also recently attached to direct Loki Season 2. With the premiere dates very close, this looks like the last fresh footage from the show that will be dropped.
Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ on March 30, 2022. It is the first live-action MCU series on the streaming service that will introduce a new Marvel hero unlike the previous shows that focussed on characters already introduced to the audience in Marvel films. Let’s wait and see what the MCU has in store for Phase 4!
