New Prime Video Horror Series ‘Adhura’ To Premiere On This Date

Prime Video India has announced a new horror series in Hindi. The series is named ‘Adhura’ and it will be premiering on the 7th of July.

‘Adhura’ will be the first Hindi horror series from Amazon Prime Video. It is written by Ananya Banerjee and directed by her and Gauravv K. Chawla.

The platform has released a short video revealing the first poster of the series. It features a young boy with a grave countenance in his face and a dark spirit or something trying to escape from his face, or seems possessing his body. The video says ‘Don’t come to the reunion.’ Which implies some supernatural event is about to happen in a school reunion.

The series will be starring actors like Rasika Dugal, Ishwak Singh, Shrenik Arora, and Poojan Chhabra, Rahul Dev, Zoa Morani, Rijul Ray, Sahil Salathia, Aru Krishansh Verma, KC Shankar and Jaimini Pathak. ‘Adhura’ is produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani.

The series will have a total of seven episodes and they will tell the story between a timeline of 2007 and 2022. In a prestigious boarding school some strange and unexplainable events happen that haunt the students and the staff. The reminiscences of the events in the lost past goes on to disturb the protagonist.

If you are a fan of horror movies and shows, you are probably going to like ‘Adhura’. There is no doubt on the quality of Prime Video shows and ‘Adhura’ looks like a pretty promising series. It will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video from the 7th of July this year.
