Prolific digital content creator, The Viral Fever (TVF), has made it a habit of coming up with innovative ideas for their web shows, most of which have hit the sweet spot with their 18-30 year-old viewers.
If it’s depicting the travails of kids who are herded into tiny rooms and grueling study schedules in Kota, the Mecca of IIT preps, in Kota Factory; or narrating the hilarious antics of a trio of siblings in Tripling; or even an account of the nascent start-up scene in TVF Pitchers, they’ve rarely missed bulls eye with any of their shows. And these are just three of their popular titles, among scores of others.
Now, we’ve learnt from well-placed sources that TVF is coming up with its next, called Cubicles, very soon— December 10. The show is all about the millennial generation’s trepidant entry of into the ominous (for them) world of corporate concerns.
Cubicles chronicles the story of 22-year-old Piyush, who enters the the corporate world after completing his education, and gets up close and personal with the trials and tribulations of being a part of the sordid rat race.
It brings millennials face to face with the reality of life, and sadly, growing up. Along the way, they learn some crucial life lessons and bitter home truths.
Of course, since it’s a TVF presentation, expect hefty doses of well-timed humour to lighten and brighten up the proceedings.
Cubicles sure appears to have a great premise. The web series stars Abhishek Chauhan (Baked and TVF Pitchers fame) Nidhi Bisht (TVF regular, Girliyapa Creative Head, was seen recently in Dream Girl) Arnav Bhasin, Badri Chavan, Shivankit Parihar, Khushboo Baid and Niketan Sharma, among others.
Cubicles streams on TVF Play on 10th December.
