Next Up For Moore: ‘Sirens’, A Luxuriously Romantic Drama!

Known for her portrayals of emotionally troubled women in independent films, as well as her roles in blockbusters, American actress Julianne Moore is an Academy, BAFTA, and Primetime Emmy Award winning actress. Having recently appeared in Todd Haynes’s family thriller ‘May December’ and the mini family drama series ‘Mary & George’, Moore is all set to come back to the screens with another series.

Starring alongside Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock, she will next be seen in ‘Sirens’, a new Netflix limited series and dark comedy from the creator of the hit show starring Margaret Qualley ‘Maid’, and executive produced by the production house LuckyChap! It will be based on Molly Smith Metzler’s play ‘Elemeno Pea’.

The show will revolve around Devon, who thinks her sister Simone has a creepy relationship with her boss, an enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela’s cult-esque life of luxury seems like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided that it’s finally time for an intervention. Narrated over the course of a particularly explosive weekend at a ridiculously lavish beach estate.

Fahy recently received strong critical acclaim for her work in Season 2 of the hit HBO series ‘The White Lotus’. Alcock on the other hand is best known for her role in Season 1 of the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel ‘House of the Dragon’.
