Nicolas Cage To Now Star In Live-Action Spider-Man ‘Noir’ Series!

Nicolas Cage will now be seen in a new superhero series titled ‘Noir’. It will be produced by Amazon MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video.

The actor has previously acted in the same role as ‘Spider-Man Noir’ in the animated film ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’. This will be the first time that the character is being introduced in a live-action project.

According to the description by the company, the movie will be about “an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.” Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot will be serving as showrunners and also executive producers in the show. It is not clear how many episodes will be there and what will be the format and plotline of ‘Noir’.

This is the second project that has been greenlit by Sony and Marvel. ‘Silk: Spider Society’ was the first one and it has no news of coming out as of now. The makers have said, “We are absolutely thrilled to have Nicolas Cage starring in this series! No one else could bring such

pathos, pain, and heart to this singular character.”

Fans are excited to see Nicolas Cage now in a full-fledged live action superhero show in Marvel. Though it is not known yet whether the show will be a part of the MCU.
