The second trailer of M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming horror film Knock at the Cabin is out. Unlike the first trailer which was more or less about the family, this one gives a lot of information about the story of the film.
However, if you are into reading then you might refer to “The Cabin at the End of the World” by Paul Tremblay because the book is based on that only.
Regardless, Knock at the Cabin stars Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Rupert Grint, Ben Aldridge, Abbey Quinn, and more.
The story is about a couple who is on a vacation with their daughter. The family is in a secluded house with limited to no access to the outside world. When their daughter is playing outside then she sees four people who are looking for her dads. She goes inside where the couple locks the door but soon they barge in.
They claim to be the one who has to prevent an apocalypse. The apocalypse can be prevented only if the family sacrifices one of the members. That’s how the story progresses and there isn’t any ghostly horror in it.
M. Night Shyamalan is known for psychological horror and that is what will guide this film through. The film arrives in the theatre on the 3rd of February.
