Searchlight Pictures’ upcoming horror comedy, Nightbitch, has received a release window. Led by Amy Adams, the film is based on the 2021 novel by Rachel Yoder.
Nightbitch was set to arrive on Hulu this year. But according to recent reports, the film will arrive in theatres worldwide on December 6, 2024.
As per the film’s official logline, Adams plays a woman who gets thrown into the everyday life of taking care of a young child at home in the suburbs. Being a mother, she starts feeling a strong connection to the wild side of motherhood. Soon, she starts noticing strange signs that make her think she might be turning into a canine.
Marielle Heller directs and writes the upcoming Amy Adams starrer. She is best known for helming critically acclaimed films like The Diary of a Teenage Girl (2015), Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2017), and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019). She also starred alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in the Netflix miniseries ‘The Queen’s Gambit’.
In addition to Adams, Nightbitch has talents like Scoot McNairy, Zoe Chao, Mary Holland, Ella Thomas, and Garrett C. Phillips. The film is a joint production of Searlight Pictures, Annapurna Pictures, Bond Group Entertainment, Defiant by Nature, and Archer Gray. Stay tuned for more updates.
