The trailer for Sabbir Khan’s ‘Nikamma’ is out and it’s a total kickass action entertainer. Starring Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Setia and Shilpa Shetty, ‘Nikamma’ is all set to hit the theatres on 17th June, 2022.
‘Nikamma’ trailer begins with the introduction of the film’s lead hero Adi (Abhimanyu Dassani), a full on useless guy who believes in spending his whole time doing just nothing. From Monday to Thursday he does no work and has a blast with friends, on Friday it’s movie night, Saturday is for alcohol and Sunday is for slacking around.
Despite being such a lazy fellow, a girl (Shirley Setia) falls in love with him and they start dating. Everything seemed to be gliding smoothly and was pretty perfect until Avni (Shilpa Shetty) arrives. Described as thunder woman meets devil by Adi, she makes her do all the chores from cleaning to washing dishes and a lot more.
But things take an unexpected turn when a villain enters into scene and harms his family. This was enough to unleash Adi’s suppressed action side and who was once a lazy boy now becomes a kickass action hero.
Written by Sanamjit Singh Talwar, ‘Nikamma’ is directed by Sabbir Khan (‘Heropanti’, ‘Munna Michael’, ‘Baaghi’). ‘Nikamma’ stars Abhimanyu Dassani (‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’, ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’) and not only marks the Bollywood debut of singer and YouTuber Shirley Setia (‘Maska’) but will also see the return of Shilpa Shetty to big screen after 14 years.
Produced by Sony Pictures and Sabbir Khan Films, ‘Nikamma’ is now all set to launch in theatres on 17th June, 2022.
