The official trailer for ‘Nikhoj’ is out now. It is a Hoichoi special and stars actors like Swastika Mukherjee, Tota Roychowdhury in the lead roles. The series is directed by Ayan Chakraborti and it will be a missing person Thriller, as we get to know from the title as well as the trailer.
Swastika Mukherjee has charmed audiences in countless Bengali as well as Hindi movies. He was most recently seen in ‘Qala’. She is also seen in films like ‘Dil Bechara’ or shows like ‘Pataal Lok’. Meanwhile, Tota Roychowdhury, despite having a very successful run in the Bengali industry with the Feluda films, is a lesser known face in Bollywood. He will be next seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ by Karan Johar.
Nikhoj looks like a very interesting thriller. The trailer is very engaging and the show will pump adrenaline all over your veins. Swastika plays a police officer of a very high position and she is a single mother as well. One day, her daughter Diti goes missing all of a sudden. A renowned journalist Romit Sen is found inside his car with blood all over his body and that blood is identified as Diti’s. Romit Sen refuses to confess anything and the case gets more complicated. Swastika, the police officer leaves no stone unturned to find her daughter. Mahendra Gupta, played by Paran Bandyopadhyay, who used to be the most credible detective of the police department, is once again brought to the department to help in the case. A new Intel says that Diti had a huge crush on Rohit Sen. The case gets more and more complex and it offers a thrilling watch to the audiences.
