Vyajyanthi Movies has dropped the teaser for its upcoming new series ‘Kumari Srimathi’ and it’s the story of a woman dealing head on with life and society. Helmed by Gomtesh Upadhye, ‘Kumari Srimathi’ will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from from 28th September, 2023 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
‘Kumari Srimathi’ teaser follows a young woman who constantly rejects matrimonial proposals and has a bit of anger issue. Her priorities are straight and it’s all about doing her work to support her family. In all this marriage is something she does not think of, even when society and family keep pressuring her for the same.
‘Kumari Srimathi’ is touted to be the story of a fierce and fearless women who is on her unconventional quest to fix her dysfunctional life.
The series marks the directorial debut of ‘Katha Sangama’ fame cinematographer Gomtesh Upadhye and is created by Srinivas Avasarala who has co-written ‘Kumari Srimathi’ alongside Uday, Kaushik and Jayanth.
‘Kumari Srimathi’ stars Nithya Menen in the titular role and other prominent cast members include Thiruveer, Praneeta Patnaik and Naresh.
Part of Vyajyanthi Movies’ web division Early Monsoon Tales, ‘Kumari Srimathi’ is produced by Swapna Cinemas, a subsidiary of Vyajyanthi Movies. ‘Kumari Srimathi’ will start premiere only on Amazon Prime Video on 28th September, 2023 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
