No Trailer For Spider-Man 3!? Here’s Our Thoughts On Marvel’s Supposed Strategy!

There’s one thing that has been lingering in the minds of Marvel fans for quite some time now. Fans have been patient and are wondering as to what has happened to one of Marvel’s most favorite superheroes. If we are wondering who we are talking about, well, we are talking about the 3rd film in the Spider-Man installment starring Tom Holland. Spider-Man 3 has been in the news, since the last Spider-Man came out, which was two years ago, this July. But despite everything, Marvel hasn’t budged an inch and has successfully kept everything hidden till now.

After Black Widow, Shang-Chi, The Eternals, the next cinematic wonder to release is definitely Spider-Man 3, which is scheduled for release on the 17th of December, this year. That will be the last release for Marvel for 2021. The movie has been scheduled brilliantly enough to coincide with the episodes of Marvel’s Hawkeye. But, even with everything “almost” known, Marvel hasn’t dropped any kind of teaser or trailer for the movie. The only thing that was last revealed about the movie was the title, which is “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.

With the trailer or teaser nowhere in sight, fans are speculating that there might not actually be any of that releasing for the movie. The rumors are all over the fansites and social media platforms. Even though Marvel or Sony hasn’t confirmed anything about it yet, the buzz is quite out there at the moment. If this happens, it will become one of the rarest movies to not have a teaser or trailer released before.

Now, why do people think it’s okay and why do some think it’s not? Well, let’s go with why it’s okay. First of all Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most talked-about pictures from Marvel. There have been so many rumors as to who is joining the amazing trio of Tom Holland-Zendaya-Jacob Batalon in their maddening journeys. There have been rumors all over that both the earlier Spider-Man characters, Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield will make their appearances. Apart from the rumors about who the actual villain in the movie is. The list for the villains is also too big, it includes Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro and speculations are that there’s even more.

Besides them, there are supposed entries of Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Hawkeye, and some other characters from the Hawkeye series. So, including all of these, the list is extremely long and if all this is the case, then Marvel for sure would want to keep everything to themselves at the moment and release everything all at once, which will be basically at the movies. As for why it’s not okay, we can just say that without a trailer or teaser for the movie, fans might not be interested.

But then again, we have strong opinions to cut that out too. Aren’t the rumors enough to excite fans? It for sure is. The excitement to know who is actually in the movie is the main MVP at the moment for Marvel and Sony and to break that down with a teaser or trailer and remove the excitement will only hurt the movie.

If it is actually true that there won’t be any trailer or teaser for the movie and the movie ends up doing well (we highly doubt that it will be anywhere failure), Marvel might take up the strategy for some of its upcoming movies like Dr. Stranger: In The Multiverse of Madness and Marvels, two other projects that are high on rumors at this point.

Marvel is protecting the movie so well, that even Tom Holland hasn’t spilled anything yet and we all know how notorious he is when it comes to revealing spoilers. But despite all these, it would be nice to at least have something that will intrigue fans even more and we believe Marvel might do that.

As of now, we have four months till the movie drops, so we definitely have time and Marvel is known for being cheeky, so let’s wait and see, if the rumors are actually true or if they are just “rumors”.
