Nobody Noticed Indian Show Eternally Confused And Eager For Love

Netflix India is making shows every month. In December 2021, they released Aranyak and Decoupled and continued with Yeh Kali Kali Aankhein and The Fame Game in January and February respectively. In this month, however, they released Eternally Confused And Eager For Love produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.

This Rahul Nair directed show stars Vihaan Samat, Ankur Rathee, Rahul Bose, Jim Sarbh and Suchitra Pillai.

The show received mixed to positive responses but still, nobody is even talking about that. The Netflix India original show which is still the talk of the town is Madhuri Dixit’s The Fame game.

The show comprises 8 episodes which are less than 25 minutes each and all the dialogues are in English. Needless to say, it was a serious turn off by the Indian audience which had a hard time accepting the flavour of the show.

One big reason behind this fiasco has to be the extremely poor marketing strategy. Netflix did not even market this series properly unlike they did while promoting A Suitable Boy having Tabu and Ishan Khatter in the lead role.

Long story short even after some decent feel-good content, the series is nothing but a fiasco as it has no buzz whatsoever even when it had a great potential to do the same.
