Avasarala Srinivas and Ruhani Sharma starrer Telugu film – Nootokka Jillala Andagadu has released in theaters in the first week of September. The movie failed to set the box office ringing, according to a report by the leading Telugu entertainment portal, Mirchi9.com.
Amazon Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical release Digital Rights of the movie. It is likely to premiere on the OTT platform three or four weeks after its theatrical release. In that case, we may see it towards the end of this month or early next month. Digital Premiere after three weeks theatrical window is most likely. Amazon recently premiered the Telugu film, Paagal three weeks after its theatrical release. Paagal is also from the same production house as Nootokka Jillala Andagadu.
The movie is about male pattern baldness akin to Bollywood films – Bala and Udta Chaman. Even though the movies are different, the concept is similar. Amazon Prime Video believes the movie is going to be a good digital watch because it has a decent subject, a good cast, and is relatively less watched in the theaters.
A newcomer Rachakonda Vidya Sagar has directed Nootokka Jillala Andagadu. Shakthikanth Karthick has composed music for the film which is a comedy-drama.
