Bollywood star Aamir Khan who has been lying low post the debacle of his ambitious Thugs Of Hindostan is looking for a grand comeback. He has set up several projects, for a change, and works related to them are going on at his usual speed.
The exciting thing here is the diversification of the work from Aamir Khan. Not all of the content is going to be for the big screen only. Yes, he has three movies in the pipeline, a far cry from what he used to take up before. But, he also has three unique ideas for the digital space as well.
Aamir Khan’s production, known for its quality content, has still not made its digital entry, yet. On many instances in the past, the star has been spotted sharing space with the CEO of digital giants. Many assumed that it would for his ambitious Mahabharat series. However, the latest buzz suggests otherwise.
While Mahabharat is definitely in line, it won’t be the one to mark the OTT debut of Aamir Khan. Reports coming out suggest that a new series is developed with a poignant human interest drama at the centre. Amazon Prime Video is said to back its production. An official confirmation regarding the collaboration is expected to be out soon.
