Nothing Changed Much; Plan A Plan B Receives Poor Response

Remember when Netflix India’s Thar was released. It was such a buzzy title and even the film was decent, if not good. But even then, it failed to make a big impact at Netflix India. It lost the game to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi which was insanely successful on Netflix.

But now things have changed. More Indian films have been released and they have created milestones of success on Netflix, even on a global scale.

But nothing can sail a terrible film/series and the recent example just testifies the same. Plan A Plan B stars Ritesh Deshmukh with Tamanna Bhatia in the lead role. The story is nothing but the same old rendition of a couple who initially disliked each other but fell for each other by the end.

It is crazy how such a film was even greenlit on Netflix because it is so old a concept. It worked in the 90s and they are imagining it to work even today.

Regardless, the views garnered by Plan A Plan B on Netflix have not been appreciable so far.

The views were only about 3,920,000 hours which is not good if we consider it an original film.

If we compare it to Alia Bhatt’s Darlings then it earned a tremendous 10,210,000 hours of views in the first week.

So, it’s high time Netflix doesn’t repeat making stale concept films like Plan A Plan B.
