November 22 Offers A Mixed Bag of Theatrical Options, But Will It Suffice?

When it comes to something as subjective as an individual’s entertainment choices, one can never tell when they’ll change. Especially considering the plethora of genres as well as viewing options. However, it does make for a pickled situation when more than one film suited to a particular set of audiences, are about to debut in theatres.

This, of course, refers to the upcoming box-office clash, slated on November 22, as not one, but three titles which appeal to largely different sets of viewers are en route to debuting. These titles are namely the Ariana Grande – Cynthia Eviro led fantasy musical ‘Wicked’, Shoojit Sircar’s Abhishek Bachchan led ‘I Want To Talk’, as well as the Sharad Kelkar led bloody thriller ‘Raanti’.

Not only are all three titles in different languages, i.e English, Hindi, and Marathi, respectively, they also cater to specific parts of mainstream audiences, and not the entirety. While on the one hand, not everyone is intrigued by musicals, on the other hand, some aren’t really interested in witnessing blood and guts being spilled on screen.

Which leaves another chunk of viewers: those whose interests aren’t quite piqued by slice-of-life stories. Despite that, November 22 seems to be giving moviegoers quite a mixed bag of options to choose from.

However, which title(s) manages to persevere against the tumultuous waves of audiences’ likes and dislikes will be clear only post this weekend. Which is to say, stay tuned to find out more!
