November Blast: Three Tamil Biggies And An Ayushman Khurana Delight

By Siddartha Toleti - Nov 13, 2019 @ 08:11 pm

november-blast-three-tamil-biggies-and-an-ayushman-khurana-delightNovember is turning out to be a month for the lovers of biggies. Those who have missed them in cinemas can now catch it in the comfort of your homes. So far we have had the release of Chhichhore, Asuran and Avengers: Endgame. Let’s take a look at what others are coming ahead.

Namma Veetu Pillai:

Starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, Namma Veetu Pillai can be considered as a comeback of sorts for the actor. It proved to be a significant relief for the young star after a slate of underperformers. The Sun Pictures production will be available on Sun NXT from November 15th.

Namma Veetu Pillai is a rural drama handled by Pandiraj of Passanga fame. Aishwarya Rajesh and Anu Emanuel are the female leads. The former plays the crucial sister part. There is a lot of sentiment and village-based entertainment on offer. If you liked the Karthi starrer Kadaikutty Singam, the chances are high that you might enjoy this as well.

Khaithi:

No need to tell how much critically acclaimed the Karthi starrer has turned out. It is a game-changer for the star as it braved the biggie opposite which it released, and emerged as a winner.

The Lokesh Kanagarajan directorial is all about the incidents that happen in a night. It involves police, drug mafia and lots of action on the road. There is a proper blend of action and comedy into the narrative as well. It is a must-watch on the big screen (as it is still running), but if you haven’t got time, don’t worry it arrives in Hotstar on November 25th.

Bigil:

The Vijay starrer Diwali Superhit Bigil is bowing to stream digitally on November 29th. It will be available on Amazon Prime Video.

Bigil is the third time combination of Vijay and director Atlee. They have scored a hat-trick at the box office with the mass entertainer. It is a biggie with a women empowerment theme in the backdrop of sports. It gets a bit tiring, but there are enough “star moments” and emotional scenes packed in the narrative to keep everyone happy.

Dream Girl:

The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl which has been on the list of many for quite some time will be out on November 21st. It will be available for streaming on Zee5 platform.

The rip-roaring hilarious comedy is set in the heartlands of India. The core idea of a boy turning girl is used in a refreshing manner devoid of clichés. The laughs are genuine, and the gags work though out. Don’t miss out in this one if entertainment is all you have in mind.
