Netflix has finally launched the trailer of its much-awaited upcoming series ‘Obsession’. The erotic thriller series premieres on the platform on 13th April, 2023.
‘Obsession’ is a limited series, consisting of only four episodes. The thriller is set in the backdrop of London. It centres on a talented surgeon, and his unhealthy obsession with his young son’s fiancée. British actor Richard Armitage (Richard Armitage (The Hobbit, The Stranger) plays the surgeon, William; Indira Verma (Game Of Thrones) plays his wife Ingrid; Rish Shah (Ms. Marvel) plays his son Jay; while Charlie Murphy (Charlie Murphy (Halo, Peaky Blinders) plays Jay’s fiancée Anna Barton.

‘Obsession‘ is adapted from Josephine Hart’s novella, titled ‘Damage’. The series is written by British writer Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, with additional writing by Benji Walters.
The official Netflix synopsis for ‘Obsession’ reads, “An intense affair between a talented surgeon (Richard Armitage) and his son’s fiancée (Charlie Murphy) spirals into a dangerous, all-consuming obsession, with devastating consequences for the whole family.”
