The streaming rights of recently released Malayalam language coming-of-age film ‘Prakashan Parakkatte‘ (translated as Let Prakashan Fly) is bagged by Zee5. The film released in theatres on 17th June, 2022 to mixed audience and critical reception.
Shahad Nilambur‘s debut directorial is a safe and rooted slice of life dama that revolves around Prakashan (played by Dileesh Pothan) his wife Latha (played by Nisha Sarang) and their sons Dasan (played by Mathew Thomas) and Akhil (played by Ritunjay Sreejith). The story follows a brief phase in their life, some crucial events that follow and some turning points.
The film is likely to stream on Zee5 from 16th July, however there is no official confirmation on the date of streaming. Prakashan Parakkatte is written by Dhyan Sreenivasan (director of Love, Action, Drama starring Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara). The film stars Mathew Thomas, Dileesh Pothan, Nisha Sarang, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Malavika Manoj and Sreejith Ravi. Rathin Radhakrishnan handles the editing and Guruprasad helmed the cinematography. Shaan Rahman composed the original songs and background score of the film.The film is produced by Aju Varghese under Funtasic Films in association with Tinu Thomas’ Hit Makers Entertainments.
