As of the Tokyo Olympics 2021, there were very few live events available on Peacock, and watching them cost an additional five dollars. Replays and highlight shows made up the majority of the content, while the platform itself was clumsy and unclear.
With improved technologies and efficient mechanisms, Peacock revamped their streaming service and gave fans a seamless Olympics experience. According to the firm, Peacock streamed up to 300 live events per day and up to 60 live events simultaneously during the first week of the Games.
