The trailer for Aditya Roy Kapur’s upcoming film ‘Om: The Battle Within’ is here and its an out and out thrilling action drama. Helmed by Kapil Verma, ‘Om: The Battle Within’ is all set to hit the theatres on 1st July, 2022.
The trailer begins with a mother grieving about losing one son and the other not having any memory of her. The video then shows how a nuclear scientist Dev Rathore (Jackie Shroff) who was working on a secret government mission disappears. But his disappearance brings up the question whether he was kidnapped or did he betray the nation.
To find him and also the truth, government brings in the force’s most powerful para-commando, Om (Aditya Roy Kapur) who during a fight gets injured and hospitalised. The injury causes Om to lose his memory and he doesn’t remember anything about the mission. The only thing on his mind is his father, who turns out to be the same nuclear scientist, Dev.
What follows is Om’s journey of fighting a battle both within himself and with the enemies on the outside. His childhood memory which he had forgotten is now back and takes on the mission to prove his father’s innocence while still battling through his condition.
‘Om: The Battle Within’ stars Aditya Roy Kapur (‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Ok Jaanu’, ‘Malang’), ‘Dil Bechara‘ fame Sanjana Sanghi, Jackie Shroff, Ashutosh Rana and Prakash Raj among others. With a story and screenplay by Akshay Saluja and Niket Pandey, the film is directed by Kapil Verma.
Zee Studios, Ahmed Khan and Sharia Khan have produced ‘Om: The Battle Within’. The production companies behind the action thriller film are Zee Studios and A Paper Doll Entertainment Production. ‘Om: The Battle Within’ will hit the theatres in 1st July, 2022.
