Acclaimed filmmaker who is well known for his films like ‘OMG: Oh My God’ and ‘102 Not Out’ is now set to present his upcoming project ‘Chakki’. To be helmed by Satish Munda, ‘Chakki’ will release in cinemas on 7th October, 2022.
Going by the poster unveiled by the makers ‘Chakki’ is a common man’s struggle story with the prevalent complex system of the government in the country. The poster shows Rahul Bhat dressed in a shirt and trouser trying to save himself from a big electricity bill with a huge outstanding balance.
With story and direction by Satish Munda, ‘Chakki’ stars Rahul Bhat (‘Section 375’) and Priya Bapat (‘City Of Dreams’) and is set in Bhopal. Munda has also done the screenplay for the film alongside Ashwin Verman. ‘Chakki’ has music by Indian Ocean with lyrics coming from ace artists like Piyush Mishra and Varun Grover.
‘Chakki’ is produced by Bharat Ninderwal and distributed by Shiladitya Bora’s Platoon Distribution. ‘Chakki’ will release in theatres on 7th October, 2022.
