“Steven Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez are coming back for Season 3 of the Hulu series, ‘Only Murders in the Building.’ Needless to say, the series is one of the most popular shows on Hulu and in India as well. It is rated ridiculously high on Rotten Tomatoes with 99%. To sum up, it is a very very good show.
In this new season, they investigate a dramatic murder that happened during a Broadway show. The show’s star, Ben Glenroy (played by Paul Rudd), dies suddenly onstage, and the three friends, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, dive deep into the case. They suspect Glenroy’s co-star, Loretta (played by Meryl Streep), and other theater actors with their own secrets.
In the beginning, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel were strangers who loved true crime. When a mysterious murder happened in their apartment building, they formed a group and started a true crime podcast to uncover the truth. Now, they keep finding themselves in dangerous situations.
The show received 11 Emmy nominations for its second season, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Martin Short), and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Nathan Lane).
