Oprah Winfrey’s new Coronavirus-specific show for Apple TV+, called Oprah Talks COVID-19, is a free-to-view show. All viewers with access to the Apple TV+ app can watch it, even those without a subscription to Apple TV+’s paid streaming services.
The new show features the talk show queen Oprah Winfrey discussing Covid-19 with health care experts, specialists of viral diseases, celebs who have caught the Coronavirus infection and common people. The episodes will have her going into detail about how people can deal with the virus while maintaining their humanity.
Two episodes are available to stream at present. One has Oprah having a chat on FaceTime with Thor and The Wire actor Idris Elba, one of the several Hollywood celebs to have tested positive for Coronavirus. Oprah chats with Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba, on his quarantine, treatment and recovery.
The logline for the show on Apple TV+ reads, “How can we mindfully move through a crisis while holding on to ourselves and our humanity? In this series, Oprah has remote conversations with experts and everyday people to provide insight, meaning, and tangible advice for the human spirit.”
Oprah Talks COVID-19 is currently streaming on Apple TV+.
