Film exhibition company ‘Impact Films’ is bringing ‘The Whale’ to Indian theatre screens this February. The company had also orchestrated the theatrical release in India of 2022’s breakout hit ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’, and Korean drama, ‘Broker’.
The Whale centers on a reclusive English teacher with severe obesity, who tries to restore his relationship with his estranged teenage daughter as a last attempt at redemption. The film stars Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Ty Simpkins, and Samantha Morton. It is directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Samuel D. Hunter, based on his 2012 play of the same name.
