Godzilla Minus One is an Oscar winning sensational film that took over the world at the time of its release. At a super cheap budget and minimum marketing, the movie became the talk of the global cinephile community.
The animation, story, overall execution and every small detail at an even smaller budget were astounding to say the least.
But, some people manage to do the impossible. The makers of Godzilla Minus One fall exactly into that category.
Regardless, we have another film which is almost polar opposite. Three glamorous actresses, one crime comedy and an absurd over the top story.
You must have guessed it right, we are talking about Crew.
The movie is led by Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon who are supported by Kapil Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Shashwata Chaterjee. It is a crime comedy which has doses of entertainment and one liners.
Interestingly, the movie surpassed Godzilla Minus One on Netflix. Crew was viewed significantly more than Godzilla Minus One on Netflix last week and we are talking about the global audience. So, glamour kinda overshadowed the content.
However, it is not the complete truth. Most people had already pirated Godzilla Minus One as it arrived on digital platforms very very late. Also, it is the full week of Crew against the weekend views of Godzilla Minus One.
Still, better was expected.
