The release date for Nivin Pauly’s latest movie is out for OTT. The movie apart from the leading man stars Aditi Balan, Shammi Thilakan, Shine Tom Chacko, Indrans, and Vijayaraghavan in important roles.
The film was directed by Liju Krishna and has an impressive IMDb score of 9. The Malayalam film industry is known for delivering unparalleled films and Padavettu also falls in the same league of films.
The movie is similar in premise to many other films. It tells the story of the struggle of a man who hails from an oppressed class. He fights to secure his identity because that also needs to be snatched, and that’s a sad reality for many people in India.
Perhaps that’s the reason people find it so relatable. The movie was released on the 21st of October and is now heading for digital release.
It will be released on Netflix India on the 25th of November.
It is the same day when Netflix’s own series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is getting released.
The movie was a massive failure at the box office but normally such films get their due on OTT. Let’s wait to see whether the same happens for Padavettu.
